Big model rocket
Notice the scale right in the beginning. This muddafukka is big! Must be about ten meters. (Update: it's close to eleven. Good estimate, bully for me.)
Wow! This is COOL!! When you see it, you tend to think: "Oh, SHIT, Martha! RUN for the car! Who KNOWS where this thing is gonna be coming DOWN!!" lol! So...of course, when the thing split apart so perfectly, it became quite a beautiful site to behold! :-)
And...then I saw David's link! lol! AMAZING the cost to send this rocket up! And...it was very cool to know that the creator is a safety-minded, life-long rocketeer. :-) I wonder if he had to have a permit to launch it. I didn't hear that mentioned on the 2 links I watched (and durn it; nothing comes up on that CantonRep.com under his name!). VERY COOL, though! I bet he was pretty darned proud of how smoothly that *mission* went! :-)
Attention! All nerds clear the launch area!
ReplyDeleteThe builder talks about it here
