Watching the Detectives Crash and Burn

Elvis Costello and Ministry. Not your ordinary juxtaposition, but I dare!
Good pop and good avant-garde.
Warning, the second one (Twitch Version 2) is really noisy. (Twice while I was listening to it a lot back in the day, my sister called on the phone, and both times she said "what's that noise in the background?!") But I think it's genius. (The sound quality could be better in the youtube version, but you should get the idea.)

("It ain't nothing but a show! Entertainment!")

  1. Add some of this to Ministry's *song* (for a visual for the girls. Trust me; this dude, on the left, came to our town and left an...um...lasting *impression* on me that didn't wear off until MANY hours later! lol!)

    and...

some of this for the gents...for a *fun* visual! That would be cool! ;-)

Uh...yeah! lol! Let's just say that...I was *appreciating* his...energy! ;-) Check out the first vid of the site and...the part where the guy goes up and hm hm's in front of the other dude (I'm sure he's not gestering to him! lol!) but...the dude did a couple of those, while he was dancing for us and...whoa! He definitely put some effort into that! lol! Not something I have ever gotten to experience, before! Good thing he was a ways away from me; he might have tripped on my tongue had he been any closer! lmao! :-P

  4. Well, the Ministry song really intrigued me; I quite like it. But I was baffled; was there another band named Ministry? Well, apparently not. Went and sampled Twitch and nothing like what I expected from them. "Dark Side of the Spoon" was also intriguing. I expect you'll be making them a few pennies. Aren't you glad some company doesn't skim 98% of the income on you?

  5. Paul: Ministry started as pop/techno, and went harder and harder.

TC: I don't see it... but then if I imagine him as female, then I can see it, so fair enough. :-)
(Some black girls have fabulous breasts.)

I was just thinking that adding some dancing to this song would be cool or...that that song would be cool for that type of dance! Nothing more. Sorry...I digressed! lol! :-P
