  1. Wow, for once the US version is longer than the UK version!

  2. It would look better if the US and UK ads were side by side.

  3. No clue how to do that, with the advanced code I get from Amazon.

  4. I bought the Pucca-Funny Love official DVD. It said on the cover: "With English and Arabic language and subtitles."

Well... except that it's the first Pucca shorts series, with not a single word spoken! Only one audio track, no captions.

The only English and Arabic "bonus" is the warning against movie piracy in the beginning. One of each, and you can't speed trhough them or jump to the title screen, which gives me the "privilege" of waiting twice longer for my cartoon to start. While the kids are getting restless all over the place!

Next time I'll go for the original Korean version. :-P

  5. I'll never understand that kind of perversion in our world where people desire the same sex. Quite repulsive.

  6. Just because you have found Toyota's to be dependable and economical, does not mean you don't want to take a Dodge Charger for a 100 miles or so of highway and by-way.

Because someones libido triggers on a different stimulus does not define that whole person, they may still play a damnable fine game of Scrabble and watch the WWF. Some people are still Roman Catholics, some people like Twinkies and Ho-Ho's, and they aren't degrading society either on the whole.

  7. NQH has just reminded me of some really good books, all by Jeanette Winterton

Oranges are not the only fruit.
    Sexing the Cherry.
    Written on the body.

As for movies, if you can get past bad werewolf FX, then "Liao zhai yan tan" has some good fountain scenes.

  8. It's really a matter of taste, No Queer Here. Natural inclinations which you may or may not have, but can't be explained. Don't worry, it's perfectly okay not to understand. Tastes and colors...

I myself find eggplants and liver absolutely repulsive to eat (and unlike homosexual relations, I've actually tried them!). Fine for others if they like that stuff.
As long as nobody forces their own tastes upon you, just live and let live, and relax.
Besides, I consider that every gay man is one less competition over the hetero women. So very convenient.
    :-)

Also, as Alex points out, some are curious over something they haven't tried yet, and don't find it repulsive at the mere first glance. That's simply the way things are.

To my knowledge, being bi-curious (and liking it) seems to be more common with women, who will sometimes enjoy some physical intimacy with another one without feeling they dislike men or are lesbians. It is all very relative.

And rather pointless to hassle about, IMO. If the girl (or guy) you're dating has tastes exclusively directed at the likes of you, AND is faithful, there's really no need to bother about how the rest of the world live.
Let the muslims and jews never eat pork if they wish so, while I leisurely enjoy my occasional ham sandwich without them criticizing me at every bite.

(I tend to frequently use that comparison between food and sex. Both natural and vital instincts, both abiding to strict and sometimes arbitrary rules. Sometimes.)

In spite of being a pure-juice hetero, I find the sight of two women together touching. Two men together make me uneasy. But I don't have to stay and watch, right? Good for them if it makes them happy as consenting adults, it's none of my business to interfere.

"they may still play a damnable fine game of Scrabble and watch the WWF."

Hahaha, so true! Sometimes, you may be completely unable to tell a person's sexual orientation until it comes to that matter. Some gays like to look like effeminate men / masculine women, others keep a fully standard style.
Beware of hasty judgements, they will complicate your life.

One thing puzzles me a bit, though: how come most men are turned on by women having sex together, but most women will have no interest for two guys doing the same?
That's a mystery to me. But not a problem. :-)

  9. Some women do. There's a genre of fan fiction which fits two male characters in a sexual fantasy story. Like Kirk and Spock. Usually written by women.

I didn't get this, and then I realized that it's odd that it seems so natural to me that I love two women together. In fact, I like my erotica totally without any men.

  10. "I myself find eggplants and liver absolutely repulsive to eat"

Do I ever agree! But blood sausage and Shitaki mushrooms do deserve honorable mention too.

"Besides, I consider that every gay man is one less competition over the hetero women."

Perhaps, but for every inoffensive gay man there's a lesbian lurking around the corner to snatch the object of your attentions. ;-)

"To my knowledge, being bi-curious (and liking it) seems to be more common with women"

Proof that they are smart. Heck, if I were a woman, I'd most certainly be a lesbian!! :-P~~~

"One thing puzzles me a bit, though: how come most men are turned on by women having sex together, but most women will have no interest for two guys doing the same?"

I actually think that given the choice, most women would prefer to watch women having sex over watching men. Just a hunch, but a strong one.

  11. I say like my friend Jerry: I'm a lesbian in a man's body.

  12. Kirk and Spock? Now, that's just sick!
    Leave Britney alone, already!

"In fact, I like my erotica totally without any men."

Same for me, almost: without any men BUT ME!
    :-)

"But blood sausage and Shitaki mushrooms do deserve honorable mention too."

I suppose you meant "dishonorable", oh esteemed european guest. (^_^)

"DISCLAIMER: THE ABOVE IS TO BE READ IN A LIGHT TONE AND BY NO MEANS CONSTRUED AS OFFENSIVE. Just in case."

Right you are: strong case you build against yourself here, mister. See you in court. And do bring your checkbook, hahaha!

    "I'm a lesbian in a man's body."

    Aw, honey, that's so sweet!
Strange, now that you mention it I tend to feel the same way.

Do you mean you feel you are an L in an M's Bod, or that He is an L in an M's Bod?

Now I'm confusing. (Hey, Americans don't put a zee in confusing!)

  14. Alex,
If I answered "Both", would you be even MORE confused?

    ReplyDelete
  15. Nah, Both resolves all ambiguity.

  16. Curses! Foiled again!

I was SO looking forward to confusing everybody...
