Driftwood art

Even for non-horse fans, this is excellent art. The sculptures are really "horsey".

  2. Why am I instantly reminded of the stage directions for "Equus". That is almost how I pictured Nugget.

Driftwood art varies between the naturally aesthetic rough plank to fantastic sculptures like these.

I wish I could use junk well.

I seem to remember some laws (EPA) preventing taking things from the wild - rocks, pebbles, plants, pine cones etc. It may just be National Parks, but there is some limit to what you can take. I wonder if driftwood is included?

  3. "Horsey"? Almost "racy", those dynamic lines! ;-)

I'm so impressed, I'm almost left speechless. Which is saying a lot.

  4. I love this style!!! I like how the legs are molded to look like real ones. Another website worth a look is a driftwood artist in California... www.matttorrens.com I saw his work showing in San Francisco. Check out the driftwood buck head mounts in the Gallery section.
