David Hyde Pierce

David Hyde Pierce (Niles on Frasier) in the Just for laughs festival. The Therapist Song at the end is pure brilliance, both musically and comedially. Just the idea of the whitest guy alive doing rap, backed by a chamber orchestra! And similarly his movements, excellent and dead funny at the same time.

  1. David Hyde Pierce is a very talented actor. I truly enjoyed Frazier. It was very funny indeed. I hope he finds some kind of steady work in television soon?
    He's a great comedian.
Hey Jillian lady, Eolake turned the dial LOL. Be well all.

  2. I am not sure I understand this. Yes, it's a cool sing-and-dance performance. But is this supposed to be funny? I find the average pale stand-up comedian on Late Night With Conan O'Brien funnier. I am not familiar with David Hyde Pierce. Maybe that's the reason.

There are many white guys doing rap. My favourite rapper, Redrama, is even whiter (shade of pale) than this Pierce guy.

  3. Another clip of Jim Gaffigan.

As the uploader describes him, this guy is the shit!!

  4. Hmm, yes, I guess a familiarity with "Niles" would help a lot.
I had not imagined anybody not being familiar with the show Frasier. It's great.
