Mette nudes

I just realized that three of the pictures from this set had never been published.

In the mid-nineties my wonderful friend Mette (she moved to Australia, I miss her) said to me: "One day I'd like to be a nude model in an artistic context." Gallantly and unselfishly, I offered my help in this regard. :)

These were really only intended to function as sketches for art, and they were taken hand-held with a tiny pocket camera (the excellent Konica Big Mini). But with Mette's inspired modeling, they turned out wonderful, and have been used much since, including a big print for Mette's wall, admired by her family of all ages.

These were taken before Domai was founded, and they were the first pictures ever on that site, back in 1997.
There are a few more here.

  1. She is very pretty. But more than that, there is a kind of soulfulness to her face, and very being. The photos radiate a calm and soothing energy. She must be a pleasent person to be around. For me there's nothing erotic about these photos, and I mean this in a positive way.

Technically I find these to be rather uninteresting shots (although I see nothing wrong in them either and the simple 'northern' light does work well). However, the model makes all the difference here and as such the end result is truly beautiful!

    Australia you say?

  2. Indeed. Sadly I lost contact, and rumor is that it's a rather big country. :) :(

Somebody said to me regarding the portraits of Bettina (see a few weeks ago) that you could see her warm soul and complete lack of evil (I suppose the term Innocence applies). And this might be said of Mette too.

We were colleagues for a year maybe a decade ago, and she came to me for some help, and after she left another colleague said to me: "Wow, you *really* like her, don't you!?"

And Mette has a great posture, which aids her looks no end. One of the first times I saw her she was in a thin, bright red party dress, man she was a sight.

  3. Oh, and first time I put her on my site, the web was newly born. When I told her "oh, you're on the Internet now", having just realized I'd forgotten to ask her permission, she said "Great!" She was very proud of the pictures.

  4. Simply Beautiful Eolake, and the Woman is gorgeous too :)
Honestly though, I find these photographs very tastefully done and she is a beautiful and lovely nude woman.
    Grade A!
    Thanks for sharing Eolake.

Do I detect a pattern in the people you choose as your friends here? :-)

"She was very proud of the pictures."
She can. They're just lovely. Tasteful "innocent nudes" indeed!

There are easy criteria for judging these. For example, to ask oneself : "If this woman was my mother/wife/daughter, would I be upset about these photos being seen by anybody and everybody across the world?"
If the answer is no, they must be okay.

Looking at these photos, I even feel more confident about my own average man's body. There are naturist priests that don't mind performing weddings at nude christian resorts, after all...

    Hey Mr Pascal Dude,
That's kewl. Why don't you post a picture of yourself? Or better yet, pose nude and have someone snap a few? I did. It's awesome man!

Certainly amongst my female friends. It is much more rare amongst males to be free of cynicism.

I've long thought that Innocence is a divine character trait, and that it is one which can help us move up.

  8. I love that she put a big print on her wall, "admired by her family of all ages."

In my guest room on the table stand beneath a gorgeous painting of flowers is the book Natural Beauties, one of my alltime favorite picture books (I look at it when I'm feeling low about myself, and I always feel better). I'm sure my son also loves the book when he visits (he's 19).

ttl : I agree about the "soulfulness" in Mette's face (and body as well.) Can a body be soulful? I do feel it can put out that energy. It can also put out the unforgettable energy of a red dress :)

This is the most interesting sentence I've read in this blog so far.

My attempt to explain the effect was clumsy, but nice to hear you agree. I think it can. But there may also be something spiritual involved which we don't yet fully understand.

  10. We can see with the eyes of innocence through forgiveness.
The very desire to see with original innocence will do the work of changing our perceptions.
This is not seeing darkness and pretending it's not there. It's seeing the source of the darkness is in our very own minds, and when looked at directly is seen for its emptiness.
The answer to "evil" is forgiving our original mistake, and choosing to see differently. IT takes strong determination (if that is the right word) and desire every day, every minute, especially if we're experiencing any kind of darkness.

  11. Hannah, smiles like yours ought to be seen more often. It's heartwarming and feels good to look at. You remind me a bit of my little sister. (Little, plump, and with an irresistible smile.)

And Eolake, I was very moved by the photo of your mother. It IS true that she reminds me of my own.

I just say it the way I feel it. :-)

It's called repenting and turning away from the sin itself.

I'm sure it is, according to nearly all those who tried it. Shedding one's arbitrary social inhibitions along with that last article of clothing should definitely be very therapeutic for self-esteem. Let me work out a little and move to a less morally repressive country, and I'll get back to you on this. ;-)
Last year, a false rumour about Lebanese authorities permitting the first nude beach caused quite a stir around here!

"What, no clever jokes on that guy's name?" Well, no. (Talking to myself here.) Not mandatory. Even "human trash" is welcome to trade intelligent ideas and friendliness around here. We're very open folks, right Eolake? :-)
"What's in a name?" Everything, and at the same time nothing. HT, I like your attitude, dude.

This is also the spirit in nudist communities. If you thought their resorts only take eye-pleasing tarzans and barbies, you'd be quite misled. Most nudists look very average (well, d'uh!), and nobody judges anybody's body. I hear the scarred, handicapped and amputees feel quite at ease in such an environment. The INA's daily photo will give you some idea over the days.

Thank you Mr Pascal Dude, I appreciate that man. I hope you do pose, it's a neat experience! I love nude resorts!
I met my girlfriend at a nude resort!
    Totally so KEWL!

Thanks Mr Pascal Dude for the link to that totally kewl link! I'd love to be a part of that bike ride!
It's wonderful to be nude especially in public!
I like my body and luckily so did my girliefriend :)
She is very sweet and has been running around naked most of her life at the resorts!
I think I'm in love with her! Ah man, ain't that the cake dude? And getting the icing too?!
Being naked means No clothes! Quite refreshing really. I like to feel the breezes everywhere and anytime! So much fun!

I totally agree with you trashey!
I'm looking forward to the warm season when I'll be spending a lot of my time in the woods, feeling as a part of nature.
A moderate amount of sunshine is good for your health, it's needed eg for the production of Vitamin D which is necessary for the transfer of calcium to the bones.

  18. "Trashey", nice nickname! :-)
Remember that daily photo changes daily, so keep visiting and refreshing.

Gen, it's nice that you don't *equate* nakedness with sun. Too much sun can be harmful. While "too much nakedness" has no medical relevance. Unless you raise bees in your garden!

Completely off-topic added comment of the day :
Einstein said (rightfully) that without bees, human life on Earth would be doomed in less than a decade. Think about it the next time you encounter one of those nice and hard-working honey-makers. Peace and love is smart.

  19. C'mon Pascal, what's wrong with a few bees humming around my body. They won't sting as long as you don't annoy them with a rolled-up newspaper.

My ways have only been crossed by the odd mushroom-collector, but never by a female bee so far. I'd love to meet a nice person in the woods some day, it might happen, I keep watching out.

I never bask in the sun, but prefer to stroll around or stay in the shadow.

  20. "never by a female bee so far."
Um... Gen, I suppose you know that all worker bees are sterile females, right?

"Keep humming casually, girls. It's only a human with no fabric on. If it were hostile, it wouldn't be approaching us without any body protection. Keep it in your sight, though, just in case. It might want to bore us with some (gulp) human news stories!
-Hey, patrol leader, is it a male or a female?
-No idea. Whatever. Those mammals all look the same."

Since I've assimilated that an insect won't sting without being given a reason, no bee or wasp has ever given me any sharp comments. Except for the occasional hungry female mosquito, nothing hostile to report for the last 20 years or so.

Oh, and of course there was my late black cat's nimble claws. Not really his fault : he was the reincarnation of a very proud and slightly moody wakandan panther...
And yet we were good friends. You should've seen what he did to his enemies! (Shivers) Many a bully still bear the marks of Mimi Siku's heroic feats for daring to cross either him or his path. "The Shadow strikes again. Booya!"

Have you ever held a loving cat against your naked body? This is the only kind of fur I'll ever want: the kind that purrs back at you. It's uniquely sweet.

I once found a very odd gallery of kinky photos on a web site : a beautiful naked woman, with a cougar. Alone together. It felt very Domai-ish.

    Nicely done.

Look, I didn't mean it that way. I just assumed you chose that alias with a humorous intention, couldn't see another interpretation. It's like "Spidey" for Spirer-Man, you know? (Never meant you were trashy, that's completely different.)

Looks like I was mistaken. No offense meant. Why don't you explain a bit, so we understand you better and don't risk unwittingly insulting you again?
I wouldn't offend you willingly : I immediately liked you.

Sorry again, I never expected it to be perceived this way. (I'm guessing the same goes for Gen.)

    You're okay, bro. Word.
