Gilmore Girls clip

In case my earlier urgings have not been enough, here is a clip from Gilmore Girls season one.
Of course to really get the full flavor, you should ideally sit back with a full season on DVD.

  1. Been watching Gilmore Girls off and on for a while now, about to watch the end of season six. I still think the episode with the Life and Death Brigade is one of my favorites. :)

  3. You can say anything you like as long as it is in line with the discussion and is not incendiary or personal attacks on anybody.

See, you have lied stobblehouse. I said the gilmore girls is a waste of film, that's my thoughts and since you deleted my view even though I never attacked anyone, you don't even live up to your own words.
    Censorship at it's finest.

  4. I can't stand that show. It's just a waste of film.

  5. Yes, you caught me, Mr. Anonymous, for the first time, and hopefully the last, I yielded to the temptation to not publish something I disagreed with.

I have published your remark now.

But be honest... was that remark not specifically aimed at pissing me off so I would be caught not publishing it? It did not carry a lot of useful information. If there had been given a couple of *reasons* why you "hate that show" I think I would have published it.

  6. "Censorship at it's finest"?
I see better every day. Brazen lying propaganda, all around. And I'm sure Lebanon is not a planetary exception. :-(

There are three local reporters here, who have been in prison for months now, just because they revealed an unpleasant fact about the regime, even though everybody damn well knows it's true.

Eolake, in spite of your confessed weakness, you would by far make the best President Lebanon has known in the last half-century.
Especially if you legalized nude beaches! ;-)

Thank you for having the honesty and coming forth like a man! That's why so many don't believe in moderation/censorship. That's the point many of us who left "Felt" this way.
The Gilmore Girls is a waste of film because the characters seem fake to me and plastic. Not real world. (The real reason I don't like it.)
Do you see now why we feel the way we do? My real motive was an honest one! So I merely put you to a test. It wasn't to "piss you off." I like you. Always have. But I needed to know if what you wrote was true.
You could have swept it away into cyberspace, and only you, me and God would have known about it, but you DID THE RIGHT THING AND I HIGHLY COMMEND YOU FOR YOUR COURAGE. Thank you!
You have made me a believer in you. I'm really astonished by this!
Thank you Eolake Stobblehouse. You are truly a noble man.

OK, fair enough, I can see that. To be sure everything and everybody is prettier than we usually find in life. But heck, that's TV, and I find within that world, it is real enough to really engage me. And it's funny as all git out.

  9. Line, I'll visit your blog. (Since I'm Danish, I can read Norwegian.)

How did you find this blog?

I'll second that Pascal. Mr Stobblehouse has proven his integrity and trust by his recent admission of weakness.
Hey Pascal, if you can come to America we have plenty of nude beaches :) And let me tell ya friend, they're WORTH going to. Yahoo Mountain Dew!

Eolake, I've never seen the Gilmore Girls. Maybe I'll tune in and watch it since you recommended it. I'm always willing to watch something that someone recommends :)
I love movies as well. Have you seen the last Rocky film? Wow, talk about a tear-jerker and emotional depth.........fantastic! I highly recommend it!
I also liked, "Stop or my Mom will Shoot." But critics trashed it, but I thought it was cute and sincere.
    Stallone is my man!

Thank you Eolake for removing the block. I feel at ease now. You are a good man and good blogger. I mean this sir.
I won't as a faithful reader ever start a willful fight okay my friend? You have my deepest respect.
I'll even give The Gilmore Girls a second chance :) Maybe I didn't watch it long enough to make an accurate judgement on it?

I saw it with my dear grandmother. She really loved it!

Some critics seem to consider that the likes of Stallone -and Schwarzenegger- aren't supposed to make any movies except with their muscles. Just like pretty women aren't supposed to make any movies except by stripping, maybe? ):-P
Even in "Basic Instinct", Sharon Stone was FAR more than just a pretty bod. And later she did "Gloria". 'Nuff said.

That was an awesome movie! Sharon is in love with me, though she hasn't come to realize it yet ;)

She's in love with ME, but YOU haven't come to realize it yet. So is Lara Croft. Haven't you noticed how they sometimes look straight at me from inside the screen?
They've almost succeeded in comforting me from the loss of dear Diana and Marilyn.

P.S.: The doctor says my narcissic psychosis is getting much better. Ah, sweet Dr Rose, she's so pretty! (sigh)

    Okay Doctor,
We'll go ten rounds in the ring, ok? I'm 6'4 240 pounds and former heavy weight champ (military)
    My record was 40-0. 34 knockouts :)
Just don't ask me about my last win. His widow is still grieving :)
    Just kidding (About the widow)
Ya ready sir? LOL. I'll carry you for one or two rounds alright?
Just remember I'm joking about the fight ok? Smiles. But I was a golden glove boxer in my day.
    Have a good one Pascal.

    Man Pascal,
I thought they were gazing at me! Ah golly gee, I was mistaken my man. Sorry I was lusting at your lady :) Gawd, she's soooooooo purty!
    Lucky man!

  19. You're on for the boxing match. You may be a champ, but I watched several times the movie where skinny Charlie Chaplin holds his own in a ring, carried by love. ;-)
Okay, so I think he lost, but I intend to avenge the little guy's pride.

We'll meet at the opening of Rocky Balboa's return soirée, allright? Last one in the ring is a Rumble Rose.
(Aah, PS2's Rumble Roses! If these beauties are too demanding in the evenings, I may be too busy and have to forfeit on that match. Ladies first, that's my motto!)

  20. P.S.: Mr $$$$$$ (looks like six figures there), are you per chance the american fighter once known as "Million Dollar Man"?
Because I've had some problems with your former partner, Irwin "IRS" Scheister. He's been investigating into my, um, "restaurant bills"!
That guy understands nothing at the efforts required to win the heart of a princess. ):-P
As if it were my fault! The ladies are all just crazy about me, and I'm merely happy to oblige, y'know? I was born handsome, I didn't choose to be that way.

Right on Apollo, um, I mean Pascal! LOL.

How did you figure this out?!!!!! I'm in deep shock!

I gotcha, I don't look too bad aside from missing my front teeth and part of my eye missing! But you can't have everything ya know hehehe.
