Comments award

It is highly gratifying to see so many humorous and insightful comments on this blog. To celebrate this, one commentator, selected at random from a handful of the single comments I like the best, will win an award. At the end of August, that person can choose between $100 cash or his choice of a photo or drawing of mine printed at 40x60 cm, signed.
I call it a celebration instead of a contest, because obviously there can't be a single "best comment". This is just a gesture.

  1. I think this is unique in blogging history. :) It's a neat idea, though. Have fun choosing!

  3. Adam,

Have you taken time zones into consideration? "Evening" isn't simultaneous in the USA and Lebanon. Not to mention we might have somme Aussie friends. ;-)

Besides, I have to back Eolake on this one. Power and communications in my country notwithstanding, I write far better with a little time to gather my many thoughts. Which is why they don't always come out as pure gibberish. ;-)

  4. Adam,

Could you insult me a little more, please?
I'm going through a masochistic phase, and good help is hard to find. :-)

    (How's that for spontaneous?)

  5. I was thinking of posting absolute nothing until the end of August -- for as they say, silence is a scary sound.

But, now that I've posted this I realise I have blown it.

  6. Better to realize it early!
Silence may be scary, but it don't win nothing. :)
