Because M4/3 system is in so many ways, including image quality, better than 35mm. And the same is true for full-frame compared to old medium format. Much better, faster, more flexible, etc.
In other words, it's the equivalent of those systems For A New Century. Easily transportable and easy to use although limited resolution.

Likewise, because full frame systems (ex., Nikon D800) have such high resolution, they've become the new medium format.Russhttp://flickr.com/photos/karmagroovynoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16327517.post-38326405690837810792014-01-04T18:23:25.142+00:002014-01-04T18:23:25.142+00:00These seem kind of bland. These seem kind of bland.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16327517.post-35675395397401443122014-01-02T19:21:41.891+00:002014-01-02T19:21:41.891+00:00Yeah, that 14-140mm is a wonderful lens, for sure!...Yeah, that 14-140mm is a wonderful lens, for sure!! :-DTC [Girl]https://www.blogger.com/profile/13627383459407464083noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16327517.post-10750844072832609742014-01-02T19:16:08.857+00:002014-01-02T19:16:08.857+00:00You know, it strikes me .... having used several D...You know, it strikes me .... having used several DSLRs with kit lenses... my super-duper 14+140mm zoom is barely larger than those tend to be! I put it in a very small camera bag with a spare battery, ND8, Macro and circular polariser filters, and a piece of aluminium foil for a small macro reflector. All up weight is less than 700g, and is working superbly.Kennoreply@blogger.com
