I love looking at the pictures Eolake provides of "vintage" cameras, especially the higher-end ones (though I don't spend that kind of money or storage space on camera collections). And my first blush with ...

GODDESS

... Francoise Hardy was thanks to a "vintage" video Eolake posted here at the blog. I wrote about it then, the old 1960s cars and skirts and cat-eye ladies' glasses just got my motor revving.

That 1940s picture in THIS example is EXTREMELY revealing for the time. However now, a 70's Buick has a lot of hidden detail which I didn't see then. Probably because in the 70's we hand't had the sleekness of the 80's teardrop designs and the 90's un-inventiveness.

If you want to see a good looking contempory car look up the Holden Efijy. http://www.holden.com.au/www-holden/action/conceptcar?modelid=20001
The Lion is back!Alexhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11434318898333768620noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16327517.post-88760030107280425682007-08-31T03:54:00.000+00:002007-08-31T03:54:00.000+00:00Yes, there is something to what you're saying.
