Nine Inch Nails & Pink Floyd & David Bowie - comfortably numb (live)

This is an awesome performance. Particularly the last half, instrumental. Some of the best guitar work I've heard. (I wonder which part Bowie plays? I'm not sure if it's him singing.)

I admire David Bowie not just for his unique talent, but also for his relative ego-less-ness. He not only accepts, but encourages, people to rearrange his music and use it, and he always collaborates with other artist, and often complete on their terms. Very unusual for such a talent.

I'm pretty sure the guitar playing would have to be David Gilmour. I can hear his voice pretty clearly, and it's his style. I agree it's hard to hear where Bowie fits into this. My guess is background singer. It's too bad there's no video to go with this(or at least more pictures for the slideshow :P).

Yes Jes, now you mention it, it does sound like Gilmour.

the verse (doctor) would be Bowie and the chorus (patient) Gilmour, originally the verse was sung by Waters, the guitar is Gilmour, not sure what NIN do

I agree, Eo. I LOVE watching/listening to Gilmour so much, it almost hurts! lol!

Did you see this clip? Bowie was at this one, too. They changed it up, since the one you posted.

I am always amazed at the light show that this band puts on...as well as the size of their fricken band! It's AWESOME!! So, yeah, like Sukiho said, I have no idea WTF NIN would be doing with themselves! A guitar "orgy," perhaps?! lol!
